Our hotel, in the middle of the Rhine region and right on the River Ems, makes for the ideal base from which to visit and explore the surrounding sights. In the Rhine area, it is well worth making a visit to the weekly market (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) and to the historical Falkenhof Museum which tells the story of the origins of the Rhine. The surrounding area and the recreational area of Bentlage are perfect locations for taking a stroll or a hike. As well as the abbey/palace, the salt mines and the zoo are also great day trip destinations.
